A Chiller Upgrade project turns into a model of Energy Efficiency
Dalkia helped Westmead Hospital secure GEEIP loan funding from the NSW Government for a chiller upgrade and innovative pumping solution. The hospital opted for an alternative solution that Dalkia proposed within their tender response, after reviewing the energy benefit information provided in detail, and verifying with a GEEIP ascribed independent third party Verifier. This solution is expected to save 3261 tons of CO2.
Innovative Solution for Centennial Coal
Dalkia Technical Services has recently signed a Project for the Supply and Installation of new variable speed air compressors with heat recovery from the oil cooling system to significantly reduce electrical energy consumption of the Main Bathhouse at their mining facility in the Blue Mountains; Clarence Colliery. After completion, it is expected this project will reduce the greenhouse gas emission by 1390 tons of CO2 per year.

As an energy management expert, Dalkia always strives to reduce its own carbon footprint. Recently, the company has moved both QLD and NSW/HO Offices to 4.5 Star NABERS rating premises which will reduce our emissions by 50%.
Dalkia signs a master service agreement with IHG
Dalkia has recently signed a three-year NSW and ACT state-wide agreement with IHG (Intercontinental Hotels Group) for the supply of planned and reactive maintenance services for a wide portfolio of specialist and general mechanical equipment.
Dalkia certified to AS 4801 and BS OHSAS 18001
Dalkia Technical Services OH&S Management System has recently been certified by AS 4801 and BS OHSAS 18001. Those two Australian standards are internationally recognized and effectively implement OHS within a workplace.
Outstanding Chiller Order for Gold Coast Hospital
Dalkia has received an order from AE Smith for the supply of 5 CDHG duplex CTV Trane Chillers. Each chiller has a capacity of 6,000 kW, giving a total combined capacity 30 MW. These chillers will be installed by AE Smith at the new Gold Coast University Hospital, a $1.76 billion project from Queensland Health which is due for completion by the end of 2012.
Dalkia Signs Master Services Agreement with AAPC Limited
Dalkia Technical Services has recently signed an Australia and New Zealand-wide national agreement with AAPC (ACCOR Asia Pacific) for the supply of general mechanical services. This agreement formalises a hotel-by-hotel arrangement that has been successfully in place since 2007 and presently covers 42 hotels.

Clean Up Australia 2009
Veolia Environnement has been supporting Clean Up Australia for the past eight years and in March 2008, over 600 employees volunteered to helped clean parks, waterways, schools and beaches across Australia.
